HELLO SPRING

Hello Fams,

I hope y'all are doing great, my New Yorkers, I hope you're dealing well with the the weather, I know, the weather hadn't been nice lately. But I can say IT'S SPRING!  Well I hope it is finally here. It was actually a nice day shooting this.  

Spring is my favorite season of the year, because I get to dress comfortably while still layered up whether you are dressing up or dressing down depending on the occasion, as supposed to wearing so much layers in the winter and feeling sometimes uncomfortable, or wearing something so light yet sweating from the crazy heat. Spring is just it for me.

Believe it or not, I am totally a suit person, but I've developed so much for T-shirts and jeans because I find them easy-to-go wears unless you have to appear really professional. I love plain T's no pressure, but sometimes i like my bottoms have some kind of details on the whether patters, or stripes or ripped like the jeans  I'm wearing... oh, and the jeans were too long, hence why I had to DIY-cut them.

The jacket is from H&M is from like 3 years ago, almost everything else i have on you can get from the sm store, shoes are from Zara, Hat- from Jagzz

THE KING

Hello guys,

I hope this post meets you well, blogging is not as easy as it is trust me, and it's only meant for just the people who are meant to do it. But all in all to become a successful blogger one day requires being consistent and hoping to get discovered one day.  

Anyway, I'm not here to discuss how to be a successful blogger, that's because I am not there yet, but of course I will surely let y'all know when I get there by God's grace. You might be wondering why my title says "The King", well, I will let you know that my name "Igwe"  is an Igbo language From Nigeria, west Africa, which means King, hence the name of this blog.

We are born ROYALS, and our purpose is to create our own world and build our own kingdoms and reign without questioning. 

I am trying to put this post forward as humbly as I possibly can... I am a King! And I want everyone to see me as such. Believe it or not, I am nothing less than a king, my reasons; looking back at my upbringing, I was never from the wealthiest home, but i never suffered really, yes at one point my parent couldn't afford few things like luxurious cars, big house, even maybe couldn't pay my school tuition on time... Basically I wasn't born with a silverspoon, but I happened to have this superpower of always being at the right place at the right time, well I should rather say "most of the time" and I am at this place where i can confidently confidently call myself a King even if no one calls me that or recognizes that. Like I once said "Believe in yourself so much that it wouldn't even matter if there is  anybody else who believes in you, because the reality is, the ultimate faith in yourself is your only chance at making it".

You have to believe in yourself even when no one does, matter of fact, believe in yourself the most when you start doubting your own abilities, that's the only way you can make it. 

No one is born to suffer, we are created to find our pupose and be great at fulfilling those purposes... Now that's what keeps me going; knowing that I've got a purpose to fulfill. I don't want anybody to give up on their dreams, one day we will get there!!! 

Well the reason why i decided to motivate today is because, recently, I have come to understand what it is to want to succeed so bad! It's not even a competition... But rather a matter of finding lifetime happiness. I call myself King (IGWE) because in this world I wanna reign as one, and that's why i dress as one. You are what you call yourself, so call yourself something positive, God had already created us Great! Might as well start living as such.

Hello everyone, I do hope you all are having a wonderful week, if not really, I want to assure you that, it will get better! We all know what the thrift experience is like; sometimes we are lucky to find cool stuff, and other times, it is frustrating to either not find your size or not even find what you are looking for. Well, my twill Vest is one of the thrift blessing, it is actually a piece from a suit i got last week and I find it a blessing that it fitted just right. Same goes with the paisley print red tie which obviously well alongside with the whole outfit. Pay attention to this; red rocks perfectly well with any shades of brown especially the kind of shade i have on. Accessories makes a whole lot of difference too, like the hat i have on. Well go ahead and enjoy your visit here as you scroll through the images.

Just one quick thing i want to point out is that, this look is for anybody who has a 9-to-5 job, and being that we are in the summer season right now, sometimes it is too hot to wear suit, so Vests is a perfect escape from the 'look policy' without being criticized. The reason i chose the tie is because, like I said earlier, red marries brown so well, and that I love a little boldness whenever I choose not to wear too much colors, I always love a 'pop'.

Playing around with Miss. Aniekeme Umoh in Dashikis

I had an Amazing time doing this collaboration with MIss Aniekeme. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to see her smiling, meaning she also was having a great time lol.

As you can see, we're both rocking Dashikis from Clarie Belle Designs, you can follow her page on Instagram; @clarie_Bellee. Aniekeme and I both styled the pieces differently. I love how she styled her piece with shorts, and her shoes were just perfect.
